Group K: can Portugal and Colombia pull clear
Colombia lead Group K on three points after beating Uzbekistan, and a win over DR Congo’s surprise package would put them close to the Round of 32. Portugal, held 1-1 by DR Congo in their opener, need a response against a winless Uzbekistan to keep pace, with Cristiano Ronaldo still searching for his first goal of the tournament. DR Congo, unbeaten so far in their World Cup debut, could be the story of the day if they take anything from Guadalajara.
Group L: England and Ghana both fancy their chances
England and Ghana both won their openers and meet in Foxborough with top spot up for grabs, Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham against Antoine Semenyo and a Ghana side missing the injured Mohammed Kudus. In Toronto, Panama and Croatia, both beaten in round one, meet in a game neither can afford to lose again, with Luka Modric winning his 200th Croatia cap.
