Belgium needed extra time to see off Senegal in the Round of 32 before a 4-1 win over the USA sent the co-hosts home. England vs Norway: Saturday, 11 July
England overcame Mexico 3-2 in the Round of 16, with Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham both among the tournament’s top scorers. Norway have been the surprise package of the knockout rounds, with Erling Haaland’s brace knocking out five-time champions Brazil 2-1 in the last 16. Argentina vs Switzerland: Saturday, 11 July

Switzerland reached their first World Cup quarterfinal since 1954, beating Colombia 4-3 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes. All four quarterfinals are done, and the semifinal draw pairs the tournament’s remaining unbeaten sides against its two knockout survivors.
